I tried Carne Guisada, Barbacoa tacos and the pork chop plate. Fantastic! The tortillas were perfect! It was so good we went two days in a row.
We love their food. We normally call in our order over the phone Then just go pick it up at the back window. Their new building is great, it’s so much more spacious. Our favorite is their menudo and barbacoa.
came here on a trip with friends, this place is delicious! i got two bean and cheese tacos ( my favorite ) and my boyfriend got the polish taco and chorizo and egg. we loved them! and amazing prices. everyone was so kind, at first we went to the wrong building and an employee kindly showed us where to go! salsa verde was awesome too! we will definitely be back!

Got 3 potato & egg, 3 bacon & egg, and 2 Barbacoa. I didn’t eat all of them, had to share, but wish I could’ve eaten all of them. They were delicious. Take out was good, the back window is where you order. It was decently fast and they had shade from the sun. Wish it was a drive thru, but liked the walk up window.
Great place for some good Mexican food. Lady at the to-go window is always so kind and they are always spot on with their waiting estimates. Food is phenomenal, it is always hard to choose what to get every time I go there. 10/10 recommend.
Alex's has the best tacos in Central Texas! They are an institution! Their service is fantastic. They started operated out of a two-story house with the signs painted on the siding and moved this year to their new location across the street they built, and it's fantastic! I've never waited more than 3 minutes for my breakfast tacos, and they are consistent, delicious, inexpensive and a staple of my diet. They have tamales around the holidays that are the best I've ever had and menudo to die for! I worked in food service management for a decade and a half, and I'm constantly seeking out good small business restaurants, and Alex's is the best hands down!
Ordered online and it was super easy. Tacos were ready about 5 minutes after we arrived. Girl who helped us was super nice. The tacos were delicious and the tortillas were amazzingggggg. Even the sauces, perfect. We got all breakfast tacos.:) 10/10 would go back.
